Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo BBQ Cook-Off - February 22nd, 23rd, and 24th
Dear Donors,
This year is The Maverick Kookers 50th year at the HLSR Cook-off and we are still smoking hot! Come out and be a part of one of the few teams that have been there from the very beginning. This year the Cook-off is February 22nd-24th. There are over 250 teams competing and it is one of the best weekends of the year.
With a sponsorship, we will provide great food, ice cold beer, water and other mixed drinks, along with a great social atmosphere and a DJ all 3 nights. All types of music is played so everyone is sure to enjoy. During the dinner hours, the music is played a little lower so you can converse while you are eating, but once the tables are lifted, we turn the tent into a dance party and the real fun begins for the evening.
Each wristband will get you in to the tent on the day that is listed on it, and if you become a sponsor, you will get all 3 nights access into our tent. Remember, there is no place to store anything, so carry what you will need for the evening. Last year we placed 24th overall out of 252 teams and 12th place Brisket.
Sponsorship does not get you into the HLSR grounds or parking, those costs are separate. If you plan to attend all 3 days, it is best if you buy the Season Pass from HLSR. Parking cost vary depending on where you park.
